Our Projects
We rescue animals regardless of borders. Our mission is to make the world a better place through caring for animals — helping those who have found themselves in distress, restoring their safety and health, and giving them a chance for a new life.
Today, the main areas of Señor Cola’s work are Spain and Ukraine.
Spain
In Spain, rescued animals live in temporary homes or small home-based shelters without cages. There they feel safe, recover physically and emotionally, and gradually prepare to find their families.
Today, more than 40 animals are under the care of Señor Cola. Most of them are elderly animals or animals with disabilities. They will most likely stay with us for the rest of their lives, which means the costs of their care, maintenance, and medical treatment will be ongoing and permanent.
Another group consists of young animals who have a good chance of finding a home and a loving family. We help them recover, socialize, and prepare for a new life.
Ukraine
Our team carries out animal rescue operations on the Left Bank of the Dnipro River. We evacuate both stray animals and pets that have been separated from their owners.
From June 2023 to the present, we have managed to evacuate 127 tailed family members: 82 dogs and 45 cats.
We provide them with urgent assistance, ensure medical treatment, and look for opportunities for further rehabilitation, as well as reunification with their former or new families.
Animals rescued and evacuated by our team have already been relocated around the world — finding safety and new homes in Ukraine’s government-controlled territory, European countries, as well as the United States and Canada.
Every rescued animal is a unique story, and each of them is equally important to us.
